Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor - Retail Fit-out sector - Midlands
We are currently recruiting for an established contractor, with a wealth of experience working for blue chip clients in the retail fit out sector. Due to an impressive period of growth and some excellent client relationships, they are now in a position to strengthen their team with the addition of an experienced Quantity Surveyor.
Responsibilities:
The successful Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for full cost management of single projects, including take offs and producing bills of quantities. The average duration of each project is 3 - 4 months and you will be required to split your time between site and the office as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
- Main contractor background.
- Retail fit out experience is essential.
- Educated to a high standard - Degree preferred.
- MRICS or CIOB is highly desirable. (client will support if required)
- Must be flexible on travel and working hours as sites are spread throughout the UK and working hours are often unsocial.
- Excellent communication and client facing skills.
- Must be able to demonstrate a flair and ability to make money on projects!
Remuneration:
- £40,000 - £55,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- Car allowance (£5000)
- Fuel for business mileage
