Our Day Sailing on the Solent as Part of an IoD Sailing Day

It's very busy here at the moment, with business improving all the time, loads of work to do, constantly looking to evolve, be the best and have best practice, things never stop, which is great.  This week has been particularly busy, on top of which yesterday we took 16 of our team out of the office  for the day to take part in the annual Institute of Directors sailing day; then tomorrow we are taking 20 to Barcelona for achieving their sales targets for the period.  GREAT STUFF.

So yesterday, we tried to retain our crown, as we won last year, but alas it was not to be...  

Feedback from the team has been great post event, we chartered two boats this year, rather than just the one that we did last year and even though we finished 5th and 7th (out of 10) respectively we had a great day out.   It is always good to spend non-work focused time together, given the pressures and workloads we all have when we are in the office.

Enjoying ourselves and spending quality time with each other and most of all having fun is of paramount importance to all the Project Resource team.  As I have said in the past TEAMWORK does not have an "I" in it and Together Everybody Achieves More.

It was great to spend a day with some of our team, and I look forward to spending a long weekend in Barcelona with 20 of the team this coming weekend.
