With youth unemployment so high, I am still astounded that these young people are not more proactive in getting themselves seen. I'm not old and not a million miles away from them in my mindset.
Here I thought I would highlight a simple idea that if you are looking for a new job, you can try, to make a difference and get yourself noticed, STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD. It's a noisy world now with the internet (hundreds of job boards, social media, company careers pages), traditional media (newspapers, TV) and so on. You need to be pro-active, creative, different and most of all persistent to shine bright to potential employers.
Tip 1
Take a psychometric assessment
With reference to working for us. If you of your own accord conduct a psychometric assessment, then if the results indicate that you are suitable for a sales job, attach the psychometric assessment, with your CV and cover letter, send it to me, and it is highly likely that we will want to bring you in for an interview. If you are proactive and do this, then it gets you noticed above the hundreds of other applicants that we receive every month.
On average Project Resource will receive 300+ CVs every month, so getting yourself noticed is paramount. What are you prepared to do?
Pick up the phone and give me a call (01628-477744), be pro-active, sending your CV alone is not enough.
