Our Client is one of the UK leading construction groups with offices across the UK. They currently boast an impressive portfolio of work for 2010 and 2011 and are now looking to further expand their Southern planning team. Our client is seeking a Planner/ Senior Planner to work on building projects from tender stage all the way through to completion on housing, offices, schools and leisure facilities.

The successful candidate will be based both in the office and on site, potentially managing several projects at any one time (depending on size). He/she will also be expected to help junior members of staff, although will not be directly responsible for their management. The role will involve creating detailed programmes of work, monitoring/updating progress, progress reporting, liaising with clients and senior management, etc. The software of choice will be Asta Power Project, although occasionally Primavera P3 may be used depending on the client.

Ideally candidates will be expected to have the following experience:
- 4-5 years planning experience within the Building sector.
- Proficiency with Powerproject software essential; Primavera P3 desirable.
- Tender and site experience.
- Good communication skills and team player.
- Eligible to work in the UK.

Dependent upon experience, our client is offering a basic salary of up to £50-55,000 per annum plus:
