The Company:
Our client, a Mechanical & Electrical specialist consultancy established for 10 years and is privately owned, operating across the whole of England and internationally. Due to their high reputation and high quality of work our client has enjoyed stability and growth even in todays climate and are therefore are now recruiting an Associate Director.
The Role:
The Associate Director will be responsible for running of major projects. Taking on a team management role in the development and design and coordination of engineering project services for Mechanical or Electrical installations, systems, equipment, facilities etc. (majority of building types)
Main Duties:
- Carry out cost and profit diagnosis on projects including feasibility studies and preparation of fee bids.
- Surveys tests and reports on existing electrical/mechanical installations.
- Represent the company at technical meetings with customers, professional teams and contractor teams.
- Actively develops revenue generation opportunities for further/new business.
Skills / Qualification required:
- BSc/BEng in appropriate engineering discipline or have sufficient equivalent experience
- Chartered Eng status (CEng)
- Significant experience of specification design for a range of building types
- Appreciation & working knowledge of contract & business law
- Good understanding of BS standards/ UK Regulations/Codes
- Leadership & Mentoring Skills
- Hold a stable, permanent employment history
