We are currently looking for charismatic, experienced permanent
delivery Recruitment Consultants who wants to take the next career
step to become a Team Leader and grow a permanent business and team
around them. It is our expectation that the successful
applicant will rise to the challenge of growing a team, increasing
turnover and profitability with a view to becoming either a
principle consultant or team leader in time. This job vacancy
has come about as part of our planned growth which is now seeing
the development of our Reading office with cost centre ownership
becoming a real possibility for our very best people.
This particular post will involve supplying
professional people to employers in the Thames Valley region,
across a multitude of industries, however predominantly to
the Construction, Civil Engineering and Infrastructure
industries. Experience is not necessarily needed in these
sectors, but would be an advantage.
Person requirements
- Charismatic, outgoing and friendly.

- Experience of proactively improving employer relationships and
net fees earned.
- Approximate billings of £150k plus per annum are a minimum
requirment.
- Well presented and tidy appearance each and every day.

achieving success.
- A team player, able to work on their own initiative.
- Demonstrate achievement beyond peer group, and be motivated by

focused, whilst continuing to maintain your high levels of
performance.
Responsibilities
These will include (but not limited to):
Sales
- Proactive generation of job vacancies.
- Management of the recruitment process from start to
finish.
- Develop the existing database by exploring new companies.
- Develop the existing employer database to improve repeat
business and retain customers.
- Advertise all job vacancies through our various approved
advertising mediums (you must possess high levels of
literacy).
- Develop your own specialist market (division) to maximise
vertical and geographical penetration.
- Conducting marketing drives and structured canvassing,
demonstrating advanced networking techniques.
- Selling all of our services to customers (including vertical
markets, geographical locations, USP's and FAB's, etc.).
- Create succession in terms of personal billings in preparation
for a move upwards or laterally.
Leadership
- Mentoring and training junior members of your own team and
those around you.
- Discussing competently our terms and conditions of business,
always bringing the best return from each business case.
- Manage and motivate a team in the absence of more senior
members of that team.
- Reinforce consistently the values and institutions of the
company to all team members. Always taking positives from
everyday, and reiterating those positives to those around you.
- Assist in the recruitment of personnel for your team.
- Demonstrate a significant growth in the levels of business
generated within the team.
- Demonstrate that the team attribute a large part of their
success down to your input.
- Consistently over achieve targets (personal and team) set,
endeavouring to achieve consistent performance from all team
members.
- Conduct (with assistance) personnel meetings with team members
(appraisals, reviews, disciplinary, etc.).
- Develop team members (both Junior and Trainee consultants) to a
self-sufficient level of ability.
- Train and assist colleagues to achieve their monthly targets
consistently.
- Assist colleagues in devising improved day plans (effective
time management, working smart, utilisation of the tools available
to them, such as the database and daily reminders), so that they
achieve their work and personal goals.
- To behave positively at all times, and be seen as a
responsible, articulate "role model" to those around you.
- Implement or create new initiatives to inspire those around you
to achieve their goals, consistently, whilst maintaining a fun and
enjoyable work environment.
