It has been announced that Salford Council has approved plans to build a residential tower at Exchange Court, which will reach 44 storeys.
The new tower which will house 350 flats, a roof garden, gym and basement parking has been designed by OMI Architects and will be situated in the Greengate area.
The project has been planned by AQ Investments, who are also constructing 1,600 apartments within the same area, which will hopefully attract more professionals to the area and once again proving that Manchester is a hotbed for construction.
The project is likely to start in June 2016 with construction set to be completed in late 2018 and will offer a large amount of exciting construction jobs throughout the project.
This is very exciting news for the city, as this project is part of a larger redevelopment scheme of the Greengate area.
