It has been announced that Galliford Try has won the £42m contract to deliver a new retirement village in the nearby Stoke Gifford.
The contract for the new retirement village, which will see 261 homes, health facilities, community hall, library, gym and a hair salon is the first major contract win for Galliford Try’s new west business.
It is also the seventh retirement village that Galliford Try has built for the ExtraCare Charitable trust, meaning the new village is in good hands when construction of tis project begins.
The plan for Galliford Try’s new west business is to expand the business and pursue the objective to increase the supply of housing and city regeneration and I imagine this is welcomed news for Galliford Try.
