Job Description

Project Resource Ltd are recruiting on behalf of a leading Refurbishment Contractor operating from their offices based in Slough. They with work with leading Clients and End Users providing construction solutions in a variety of industries including healthcare, commercial,industrial, leisure and education.

The Assistant Contracts Manager will be responsible for assisting the Contracts Manager overseeing a portfolio of projects and their progress, ensuring work schedules and commercial guidelines are followed.

Our client is looking for a hands-on, enthusiastic individual who will be involved and invested in the project and its progress.

* The company undertake a range of refurbishment schemes including dilapidations, conversions, fit-outs and office interior schemes upto £2m.

About the Role

* Responsibility for ensuring projects are completed on a timely basis within budget

* To liaise and maintain a good working relationship with Clients, Surveyors, other Project Managers and attend site meetings.

* Carry out on site method statements and risk assessments.

* Ensure all works are carried out under health and safety guidelines.

* Assist Senior Management in the overall planning and supervision of projects.

* Be able to Estimate and calculate the cost of a project.

About the Candidate

* Previous experience in management of commercial refurbishment of contracts either

as Quantity Surveyor or Site Manager.

* Flexible self-starter with ability to prioritise

* Displays strong leadership skills

* Analytical and problem-solving skills

* PC literate

* Commercially aware
