Associate Project Manager

Associate Project Manager | Consultancy | City of London


I have an opening with a well-established leading independent consultancy based in the UK who have a global network spanning over 40 counties.

I am looking for an MRICS chartered Associate Project Manager to join a London based project management team who focus on managing new build, fit out and refurbishment projects through various stages of the project lifecycle. This company provide consultancy services across a variety of sectors, however their current focus is office fit outs both Cat A and Cat B with project sizes ranging between 15,000 ft and 100,000 ft.


Responsibilities for this Associate Project Manager position:

The responsibilities of the successful Associate PM will involve but will not be limited to…

  • Taking the lead PM role on projects supported by junior staff and consultants.
  • Writing monthly reports on progress of the project
  • Taking part in and leading pitches to Clients.
  • Reading and analysing tender documents, both for consultants and construction works
  • Administration of construction projects and contracts.
  • Preparing Gantt Charts (experience of working with MS Project is essential).
  • Management of external consultants, including architects and engineers; this will include arranging and preparing meetings and taking minutes for project meetings


Requirements for this Associate Project Manager position:

  • A BSc degree in a relevant field.
  • Must be MRICS chartered.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Consultancy side experience.
  • Must have experience delivering office fit out projects from cradle to grave.
  • Highly motivated and flexible individual with the aptitude to motivate/mentor/assist/ develop colleagues less qualified or experienced.
  • Proven ability to communicate confidently with clients, contractors and consultants.


Remuneration for this Associate Project Manager position:

  • £70,000 - £75,000 per annum. (depending on experience)
  • Car allowance.
  • Bonus (subject to performance)
