One of our main clients are looking for a Design and Build Coordinator to join their team in the North West. The team will work together to provide sustainable and affordable housing to the local communities across the region alongside a variety of other projects. The company operates in a wide range of markets but specialise more in housing and refurbishment and try to focus on improving the environment surrounding us and the space we live in.

Position: Design Manager

Location: Manchester

Salary: £50000 - £70000 (negotiable depending on experience) + package

Our Client is after somebody who will be able to deliver quality projects whilst maintaining a high company standards and procedures. The applicant must be able to work in a team environment and be able to provide quality design solutions to the rest of the team. The team encourage each other at every opportunity to produce the best work possibly so this role is ideal for someone who can inspire others around them or feels as if they're passion for construction needs to be reignited.

Essential Criteria for applicant:

  • 4+ years' experience as a Design Manager
  • Previously worked at a major building contractor
  • Good knowledge of Housing construction
  • Good communication skills with the ability to listen to others and find solutions together
  • Present ideas confidently and professionally
  • Well organised with documents and time
  • Knowledge of software (AutoCAD)
  • Competent in MS Office applications
