Contracts Manager Position

We are currently recruiting a contracts manager for a client of ours who has a number of projects in the Oxfordshire area.

They are looking for a manager that can run multiple jobs at the same time.

You would have site managers that reported into you and you would report to the construction director.

Here are the details of one of the site's you will be looking after.

Scheme comprises redevelopment of site to provide purpose built managed student accommodation comprising 152 bedrooms; comprising of 4 self-contained studios and 148 study bedrooms arranged in clusters of between 3 and 10, provision for one commercial unit of circa 85sqm for B1, A1, or A3 purposes, provision of an on-site management suite of (67sqm), together with associated landscaping, natural ventilation, district heating and infrastructure. The associated works include sewer systems, landscaping, infrastructure, enabling and access roads.

  • Knowledge, skills and experience required
  • NVQ Level 4, HND, Degree or equivalent qualifications or equivalent experience

  • Practical site experience

  • Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word & Excel

  • SMSTS certificate

  • First Aid certificate

  • Scaffolding certificate

  • CSCS Card

  • Good communication skills

  • Assertive and strong persuasion skills

  • Strong time management skills

  • Good management and leadership skills
