Cost Manager (£26,000 - £35,000) - Birmingham

I am working on behalf of a well-established award winning main contractor who is seeking a Cost Manager to work in the West Midlands.


The company is a tier one contractor and has a strong reputation as a great employer. They have an exciting portfolio of projects ranging from £5 - £20 million plus.


The successful candidate will have a broad experience with public sector, commercial and developer clients. You will deliver Cost Consultancy support and advice to key long term clients as well as new clients and industry sectors.

Cost Manager Requirements:

  • Appropriate academic and professional qualifications.
  • Working towards MRICS.
  • Successful in delivering the role of 'client's cost consultant' to include all RIBA work stages particularly Cost planning.
  • Proven ability delivering added value to a business's key repeat clients.
  • 2 - 3 years post degree qualification work experience demonstrating an ability to influence and gain confidence.
  • Experience in Business Development and work winning is desirable


Cost Manager Remuneration


Salary: £26,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Location: Birmingham
Other benefits: Car/Car allowance, generous pension, 26 days holiday
