The Company

My Client are a renowned main Civil Engineering Contractor who work on a range of civils schemes including highways, rail, roads, bridges, flood defence, water and public realm schemes.

The Role

My client are looking for a Foreman to work on a prestigious civil engineering and rail development in the Birmingham region. The Foreman will be responsible for scheduling, coordinating and supervising the work of site operatives.

Duties

  • Carry out site inspections
  • Conduct risk assessments
  • Deliver toolbox talks
  • Ensure site staff have relevant training and certificates
  • Track, organise and monitor subcontractors on site



The Person

  • Worked as a Foreman for a civil engineering contractor
  • Have worked on civil engineering projects (highways, roads, rail, structures)
  • Practical hands on approach
  • CSCS supervisor card
  • SMSTS qualification
  • CPCS lift supervisor
  • First aid qualification
  • NRSWA supervisor
  • 1 day environmental
