Planning Manager (Designate)

Location: Office based
Company: Privately owned contractor with £500m turnover
Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 plus comprehensive benefits

Company & Opportunity

My client is a reputable privately owned contractor with a group turnover fast approaching £500m and national coverage from a network of offices. They have an established client base which is largely private sector, across a range of sectors including commercial, leisure, industrial and retail. Their projects are often fast track, high specification developments with average project values ranging from £1m to £50m+.

Due to the current Planning Manager retiring in 6 months, a rare opportunity now exists for an experienced Senior Planner join the business as Planning Manager Designate and work into the Planning Manager role over a period of 3-6 months.

Key Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years in construction Planning.
  • Main contractor background.
  • Able to interact well in a team environment and works autonomously as and when required.
  • Proficient in Asta Power Project software (desirable).
  • Educated to a high standard - Degree and/or HND in a relevant subject.
  • Full UK driving licence is essential.
