A unique opportunity to work client side for a global American technology firm as a Project Manager managing multiple concurrent real estate projects including design, construction, occupancy, and budget management at either ground up or fit out phase. Based from either London or Dublin but with travel EMEA wide to sites as and when required.

Our client is recruiting for a Project Manager / Programme Manager to join the in-house team based from either London or Dublin overseeing, managing and coordinating construction works on their Real Estate (majority of which will be Commercial Fit Out) across the EMEA region. The Senior Project Manager will largely be based from London (or Dublin) but will need to offer flexibility to travel to offices and sites across EMEA as and when required (circa 6 days a month).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage all phases of project management including due diligence, design, construction, occupancy, quality control, staffing, and budget management.
  • Interface with client and key stakeholders to define project requirements. Establish project work plan and deadlines. Create persuasive presentations that meet the project's objectives.
  • Create and manage project budgets. Monitor expenses to ensure project progresses on schedule and within the prescribed budget.
  • Manage all facets of project design, construction, and occupancy.
  • Qualify and recommend contractors by reviewing bids and related documents.
  • Oversee preparation of "For Execution" consultant contracts and management of the execution of these documents
  • Manage project team by providing direction and leadership.
  • Facilitate client meetings regarding project matters.
  • Represents the client with architects, vendors, consultants, and regulatory agencies.
  • Actively updates multiple project records using the Account-approved project tracking software application

EDUCATION, ABILITY AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, business or equivalent from appropriate 4-year BSc, MSc, college program.
  • Typically at least 10+ years' commercial development management or commercial fit out experience, a preference is desired on commercial fit out experience.
  • A proven track record in delivering multiple concurrent commercial office fit outs.
  • Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups.
  • Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with employees and client groups to take desired action.
  • Must be a team player and work collaboratively and positively with colleagues.
  • Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Able to forecast and prepare budgets.
  • Conduct complex financial/business analysis including the preparation of complex reports. Prepares and manages departmental budget.
