Senior Project Manager

Salary: Circa £65,000 - £75,000 plus benefits

Location: City of London

I've just been speaking to a new start up business, construction consultancy, in the UK, who currently have a large presence in the USA. We are helping them source Project Management & Quantity Surveying staff. This business has that Silicon Valley vibe: dynamic, agile, professional and driven. This is a life changing career move, and although the business is ideally looking for permanent staff, they will consider contractors.

Please get in touch if you have worked in the consultancy / end client work arena, and are agile, driven, professional, loyal and have passion for what you do, like the social aspects of working in a team, and hold relevant degree and RICS, MCIOB or MAPM. This opportunity is London based, with European & global travel involved and very prestigious projects, and great companies. Their projects include high specification residential, pharmaceutical, data centres, retail, commercial, healthcare, education, stadia and leisure projects to name a few, comprising of both new build and fit out projects. However it is essential for this urgent position that you have data centre and Pharmaceutical experience.

Skills Requirements

  • Must have 7+ years' experience
  • Must have data centre or Pharmaceutical experience
  • Must have a Construction related degree (Engineering, Project Management, Architecture, Building Surveying, QS, etc.)
  • Professional memberships (not essential but preferred): RICS, MAPM, etc.
  • Be autonomous.
  • Manage change control.
  • Manage design teams.
  • Manage valuations.
  • Manage and produce project reports and programs.
  • Experience with MS Project & Primavera 6.
  • Understand Risk.
  • Develop/ agree schedules.
  • Have excellent communication skills.
